Insurance Options

While driving Automondial vehicles, you have three options for insurance:

1. Your own auto policy, if it covers daily rental or carsharing vehicles

2. Your credit card’s rental car loss/damage insurance

3. Automondial’s insurance: included with all bookings, with a $1,000 deductible

During the Start Trip process, you have the option to purchase our deductible waiver. If you choose to purchase this coverage, you’ll be using Automondial’s insurance, but with a waived or reduced deductible in the event of damage to the vehicle.

Deductible Waiver Tier 1 and Tier 2 vehicles

Automondial’s deductible waiver is available for Tier 1 and Tier vehicles at $3 per hour or $10 per day. Purchasing the waiver in app at the start of your trip will reduce the deductible from $1000 to $0.

 

Deductible Waiver Tier 3 vehicles​

Automondial’s deductible waiver is available for Tier 3 vehicles at $4 per hour or $15 per day. Purchasing the waiver in app at the start of your trip will reduce the deductible from $1000 to $500.
